01

Who we are

Augmentiv Labs, Inc. (“Augmentiv”) is the controller of personal information described in this policy. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website and services, why, and the choices you have.

02

Information we collect

  • Account and contact details — name, work email, organization, role.
  • Experiment information — protocols, sample details, results and run records you share with us.
  • Bench capture — video and derived data from verification cameras at partner labs (see section 04).
  • Usage data — how you use our website and platform, device and browser information, and cookies (see section 09).
  • Communications — messages, support requests and demo bookings.
03

How we use it

  • To run, verify and deliver your experiments.
  • To operate, secure and improve the platform.
  • To communicate with you about your work, your account and — if you opt in — product news.
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We rely on contract, legitimate interests, consent or legal obligation as the legal basis, depending on the activity. We do not sell personal information.

04

Bench capture

Verification cameras are positioned to frame the bench — hands, tools, samples and instruments — not faces or the wider lab. Footage is used to produce the verified record of an experiment against its protocol; it is never used to monitor or rank individual operators. Quantitative experimental results are never used for training and never shared. With the lab’s consent, de-identified video of operators’ movements, paired with the protocol, may be used to improve step-by-step guidance and to develop AI for lab work; it never includes results.

Only the client and the partner lab that ran an experiment can review its footage, alongside authorized Augmentiv staff for verification and support. Footage is retained for 12 months unless a different period is agreed in writing, then permanently deleted.

05

How we share information

  • Partner labs — only the information needed to run your experiment.
  • Service providers — hosting, storage, analytics and support vendors under contracts that protect your data.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • Business changes — in a merger or acquisition, under equivalent protections.
06

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: account data for the life of your account plus two years; experiment records as set in your agreement; bench footage as described in section 04. You can ask us to delete data sooner where the law allows.

07

How we protect it

We protect information with least-privilege access controls, so people only see what they need. Read more on our Security & privacy page.

08

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Email privacy@augmentivlabs.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

09

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the website and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how it’s used. You can change your choices at any time — see our Cookie policy.

10

International transfers

Partner labs and service providers may be located in other countries. When information moves across borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11
